The 1906 Mass Killing That Shocked the Verde Valley and Sparked a Three-day Manhunt.
 
Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum is pleased to present "First Friday In Their Own Words" on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clark Memorial Clubhouse located at 900 First North St in Clarkdale.
The speaker, Dan Biggins, is a board member of the Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum and Clarkdale resident who has immersed himself in the history of Clarkdale and the Verde Valley.
He will be speaking about the life of Justin Head and this tragic event. Through extensive research, Dan will expand on the story as first told by the late Vincent Randall, Yavapai-Apache Nation Elder, historian and lifetime resident of Clarkdale.
This is a 1-hour presentation that is free to the public, though donations are gratefully accepted
